What is a "company" in ProtoPM?

A company is the shared space for your jobs, crew and billing. Your first company is free (extra companies are an add-on), and you can join as many as you like.

Can I invite my client or sub to a project?

Yes, free and unlimited. Invite them as a read-only Viewer: they can follow progress, but they can't edit and they don't see your budget.

Is there a project limit?

No. Free has unlimited projects and people. Add-ons (from $5 CAD/mo) cover extras like unlimited PDFs, more storage and a public firm showcase. See pricing.

Can I export my data?

Yes. Export project PDFs anytime (Free includes 10 a month per company; the optional Documents & Branding add-on, $9 CAD/mo, makes them unlimited), and download all your account data as JSON from Settings.

What happens if an add-on ends?

Your projects and records stay. The add-on's features become read-only until you add it (from $5 CAD/mo). If files are over the free storage, you get 60 days to add storage or remove some. Free stays free.
