How to use this template
- Download the daily log. Get the Excel file and keep one sheet per project (or one row per day).
- Fill it before you leave site. Weather, headcount, work done, and delays while details are fresh.
- Call out blockers. Note waiting-on-others items so the office can chase them next morning.
Why keep a daily log
Daily logs protect you on disputes, weather delays, and manpower claims. A consistent spreadsheet beats scattered texts.
This template is an original ProtoPM form for planning and tracking. It is not a legal contract and is not affiliated with AIA, CCDC, or other standard forms. Adapt it for your trade and jurisdiction.
