How to use this template
- Download the checklist. Open the Excel closeout checklist and tailor rows to your trade and contract.
- Assign owners and due dates. Every open item needs a person and a date before handover.
- Mark Done with evidence. Note where the certificate, photo, or signed form lives.
What this checklist covers
Typical closeout themes: inspections, as-builts, O&M, warranties, final clean, punch completion, and final invoice. Adapt the sample rows to your contract.
