How to use this template
- Download the schedule file. Open the Excel template and list activities in order of the job.
- Set owners and dates. Assign who drives each milestone and planned start/end so the crew can plan labor.
- Note dependencies. Call out what must finish first (permits, gear delivery, other trades).
- Update status weekly. Mark Not started, In progress, Done, or Delayed so the plan stays honest.
Milestone schedule for small crews
Most small contractors do not need a 500-line CPM schedule. A clear milestone list with owners and dates is enough to keep a panel upgrade or tenant fit-out on track.
This template is an original ProtoPM form for planning and tracking. It is not a legal contract and is not affiliated with AIA, CCDC, or other standard forms. Adapt it for your trade and jurisdiction.
